Anyone who has ever wondered what a blending of coupe and crossover would look like can easily find their answer in the BMW X6 SUV Crossover. Though the vehicle holds onto many of the qualities of an SUV, its styling favors a coupe and ensures that it drives like one. As with most BMWs on the market, the X6 gives the driver an enjoyable time with plenty of acceleration and gusto. It does, however, lack in the function that one expects from an SUV. The limited space for both cargo and passengers makes it less useful for many of things one would buy an SUV for.

The exterior of the BMW X6 SUV Crossover is truly what sets it apart from the crowd. Unlike traditional SUVs the X6 sports a roof that is reminiscent of a sports sedan. It is this design that ensures the X6 is among those crossovers that veer more towards the coupe styling. It is also this design that adds to the speed one will experience when driving the X6. From the moment of acceleration this vehicle is just a bit faster than one would expect from an SUV or crossover. The downside, of course, being that the sloped roof provides less space on the interior of the vehicle.

Like every other BMW to be had, the interior of the BMW X6 SUV Crossover is laid out with only the finest materials and design. While the interior is not nearly as spacious as other crossovers, even the X5 offered from BMW, one will find that it offers the same luxuries that have come to be expected from BMW. Traditionally the X6 will seat four passengers, but there is an added seat option so that it can move to 5. Even so, passengers will be a little more cramped than in other crossovers simply because of the sloped roofline.

When it comes to driving the BMW X6 SUV Crossover, it will be much like expected. The accelerations is quick and powerful allowing the vehicle to reach sixty mph in less than six and a half seconds. Outsides noises will not be a bother as the cabin is nice and quiet. The car handles well even though it is large and heavy. Passengers will be comfortable during long drives and the driver will appreciate such things as the steering and braking capabilities.

The different trims of the BMW X6 SUV Crossover come with different engines. Even the weakest of the engines is still quite powerful. The xDrive35i offers a 3.0 liter 300 horsepower engine and an eight speed automatic transmission. The xDrive50i boasts a twin turbo 4.4 liter 400 horsepower V8 under the hood with the same transmission. Both get standard all wheel drive. The gas mileage is not much different from one engine to another. In fact the 35i will get about 16 mpg city while the 50i gets 14 mpg city. The numbers for highway are 23/20 respectively.
