I really wanted to love the Encore, because I find the exterior styling exceptional, but performance is just not up to Buick standards. While I appreciate that they tried to keep the vehicle fuel-efficient, the four-cylinder engine is far too outmatched by the weight of the vehicle. What's the point in having an SUV, if it is going to be this weak? Buick really needs to rethink this tiny engine.
