Cadillac SUV

For the refined generation of vehicles the Cadillac SUV offers sporty but classy looks and an interior that pampers you along the way. The original Cadillac SUV came out with perhaps substandard lines and features for the car company but was still held in high regard by the consumer. Two years later it was given an overhaul to become true part of the Cadillac fleet. The Escalade is the Cadillac's response to the early stages of the SUV wars. It has evolved over time into a very specific class of vehicles known as the luxury SUV.
GM led the way with their Cadillac SUV by offering special features like the Bose surround sound system. Soon after the introduction of features like this other vehicle manufacturers followed suit. Escalades mark the spot with their current lines and features. The redesign was a necessary step as GM didn't slow down to consider the design flaws of the first models in 2000. In 2002 GM released a redesigned model and has continued to make improvements ever since.
According to today's standards, the Cadillac SUV is one of the high class sport utility vehicles on the market with a gaining confidence from the consumer. The release of three models, Escalade, Escalade EXT and Escalade ESV, gave the consumer more choices. This in turn created a better, more refined vehicle and brought the consumer back onto the Cadillac SUV team.
Details like adding the heating and cooling capacity to the cup holders (and lowering the market price) in 2005 attracted the consumer to the Cadillac SUV even more. With the growing interest, the engine was modified to give the driver more power from the start. Bucket seats were added to the second row instead of bench seating and the Escalade became ever more desired.
Stability control designs were a high focal point for the Cadillac SUV to help squelch concerns about the rate of rollover that plagued the industry. This system was designed and coined "stabilitrack" as a feature only found on the Cadillac. While other manufacturers offer stability control, the "stabilitrack" design is the sole property of GM. With this design feature, as well as similar designs by other manufacturers, the SUV regained popularity.
A hybrid model was found to be of great interest to the consumer and the Cadillac SUV Hybrid was released in early 2008. As fuel costs escalated and the growing cost of fuel began to add concerns to the SUV generation, the hybrid model was in line with other planned releases from other car companies. Hybrid models from most SUV vehicles are moderately competitive with vehicles in other classes such as the station wagon.
GM was also the first to produce the LED headlights and they entered the scene on the 2008 Escalade. The energy savings and the long life of the LED lamps were an attractive option for all manufacturers. Today, you'll find these headlights on most vehicles. Of course, DVD monitors and entertainment systems were also part of the Cadillac package and others were soon to follow suit. Cadillac is expected to show off a newly redesigned model for the 2013 model year.
