The Chevrolet Suburban Half-Ton SUV has all of the standard options you would expect for the price, including power locks and windows, heated power mirrors, cruise control and audio controls on the leather steering wheel, roof rack with crossbars, three-zone air conditioning, three power outlets, and a USB port. The sound system has AM/FM and XM radio, CD and MP3 players, six speakers, two headphone jacks, and rear audio system controls.

The exterior looks smooth and aerodynamic, impressive for such a large vehicle. The glass of the rear window opens separately from the liftgate for your convenience. The liftgate itself is crafted from aluminum, reducing weight and increasing the ease with which it can be opened and closed. Wheels are 17 inches, which give a smooth ride, better in fact than the optional 20-inch versions available.

The Chevrolet Suburban Half-Ton SUV interior is cloth, with power adjustable bucket seats in the front. Over-dash visibility is excellent from the comfortable driver's seat, and heating or cooling options are available. Those that need additional passenger space can choose a three passenger bench seat for the front instead. The second-row seat splits 60/40, and the third-row seat splits 50/50. The third-row can fold down, but it doesn't fold flat, so for bigger or longer loads they should be removed altogether and stored. There is plenty of space for storing small items, including door pockets and a deep console storage and tray.

Optional features can be purchased for additional cost, including a package of conveniences like adjustable pedals, rear park assist, remote start, and rear camera display. This is a must for added safety, as you will have better ability to spot pedestrians behind you, not to mention easier parallel parking. You can also add in side blind zone alert, for added visibility. Just remember that this only helps with the vehicle and not anything being towed.

Stay safe with Stabilitrak, offering anti-rollover mitigation and traction control. Other standard safety features include front seat mounted side-impact airbags, full length head curtain airbags, and dual frontal airbags. A tire-pressure monitor and anti-lock disc brakes are also included on every model. Daytime running lights are useful for safety, and they can be turned on for some outdoor illumination in dark conditions.
