I'm having problems with the brakes hanging up while driving. On the way back from a 130 mile trip the right rear wheel well started spewing smoke. After pulling over I discovered the actual side wall of the tire was extremely hot and the rim was blistering hot. The cause was blamed on the parking brake which the mechanic disabled as a temporary fix. Parking brake was not engaged and had never been used. Prior to getting the Nitro into Chrysler Service the same thing happened to the driver side rear wheel. Chrysler refused any assistance or even recognize there is a problem. The cost to Me over a potential fire hazard over $600.00. Millage at that time 17,000. I honestly believe this problem is a death risk.
