I'd have to disagree fully with those two reviews.(typed from my phone so there could be a couple mistakes). I've had the expedition since it came out in 97 execpt I got it in 99 the same car as the 97, then I had the 2004 expedition eddie bauer, the 2007 expedition Eddie Bauer and now the 2012 expedition limited. Not only has this truck been a great hauler and family vehicle I've put over 300000 km on my 2007 with only an air compressor blown. I used the 2012 as a business car traveling all over Canada hauling samples my sales stuff to clients. Being a 6'4 adult thea chairs are extremely suportive and very comfortable. Those tilted head rests that come in the 2012 won't buy another care or sub without them. They give huge suppor to the neck and head and doesn't force me to have to put my head all the way back to Only be looking back. My son who takes it to school some times said his friends think that there the most comfortable seats they've sat on and one kid actually fell a sleep just for a 5 minute ride to McDonald's. He said he likes to show it off with the nav, the cool running boards and 20" rims. And to top it off I've had a 2011 Tahoe as a lonner vehicle and couldn't get why some one would buy them. There slow, guzzle more gas and the interiors cheap and uncomfortable And would never buy a gm SUV. Hands down the best SUV on the market and could not ask for a better one(if it had diesel that would be great). The 2012 with the sync, cool nav, running boards, soft touch black interior and te amazing capability and looks you couldn't go wrong. It's a car for people who wants style and power but don't care about has mileage. My family loves it we take 3000-6000 km trips in Canada without them fussing. I love the expedition and I won't get another vehicle except one.
