Jeep does give the Wrangler some greater features on both the interior and exterior. You have the option of choosing the Wrangler to be 1 of 10 different colors. The 2012 Jeep Wrangler sits up on 16 inch steel wheels fitted with all-terrain tires. More to find on the outside of the Wrangler include skid plates, variable intermittent wipers, and a rear side-hinged door. The standard Wrangler comes with a soft-top to easily make it a convertible, but since this could pose for easy theft and break-ins, Jeep also offers the hard top for the Wrangler as well.

There is only one interior color so there is no variation in choosing what you want the interior to look like, as they will all basically look the same. The Wrangler's front leg room allows for 41.0 inches while sitting on bucket style seats that are covered in cloth. The cloth could pose for hard cleaning up and stains for those who want to take their Wrangler to those muddy off road spots. The rear leg room only allows for 35.6 inches which seems a little cramped unless you are a fairly young child. The rear seats do fold down for the extra cargo space, and does come with cargo tie downs to try and hold your stuff inside of the SUV. When it comes to storage, the Wrangler comes with a front console that contains storage and a lock, front and rear cup holders, front door pockets, and storage on the back of the front seats. For easier access to the back seats on the two door models, Wrangler does have a manual rear seat easy access entry system. There are audio and cruise control options on the tilt adjustable steering wheel for easy access, as well as power steering, 6 total speakers, AM/FM radio with a CD player, and an auxiliary MP3 audio input throughout the Wrangler cabin.

All of the 2012 Jeep Wranglers come standard with several safety options. There is a 4 wheel antilock braking system, emergency braking assistance, stability control, traction control, and constant tire pressure monitoring. The exterior of the Wrangler comes equipped with front fog lights and also has driving lights for those days when the visibility isn't at its max. The Wrangler also comes with child seat anchors as well as airbags with a passenger airbag deactivation sensor.
