The New Voyager is offered in the Gold trim level. Engine options offered include the powerful Euro 5 compliant 285 horsepower 3.6 liter petrol engine, which provides more than enough power to take the van anywhere. Also available is the 165 horsepower 2.8 liter diesel engine, which is also formulated to be Euro 5 compliant. The Lancia New Voyager features a classically styled front end that is unique only to Chrysler vehicles, with its iconic winged grilled showcasing the Lancia emblem front and center. The front and rear bumpers are all completely wrap around and are integrated into the body of the van. The easily recognizable front headlamps in the classic Chrysler C shape are equipped with LED light technology and built in fog lights. The Gold trim package also includes transverse roof bars that are sleek and modern.
The Lancia New Voyager is not a small minivan, it is one of the larger cars in the multi-purpose vehicle line. At 5.21 meters long, 1.99 meters wide and 1.75 meters high, sitting on a wheel base of about 3.1 meters, the Voyager strikes an impressive profile. The interior of the van is spacious and refined, with a passenger compartment decked out in high quality materials with an impressive attention to detail that Lancia is well known for. The seats are high quaily leather, the steering wheel is leather covered and heated, and the gearbox is trimmed in leather as well. This may be a vehicle designed for a family, but it doesn't lack in luxurious details that any adult will appreciate.
The passenger compartment spares no luxuries either. Designed to be both quiet and comfortable, the shape of the body, the placement of the windows and the materials used all work together to achieve what is by far one of the quietest rear compartments in its class. The newly redesigned Lancia New Voyager makes use of acoustic panels and silencers throughout the entire build, giving this van a uniquely quiet and easy ride.
Every inch of space is used wisely in the Lancia New Voyager passenger compartment. There is no wasted space to be seen. Chrysler's patented Stow-N-Go system is used to lower the back seats into the floor, rather than having to remove them as was done in the past. This easy transformation from passenger seats to cargo space makes the Voyager perfect for any type of cargo, luggage or passengers in combination. The second row of seats features two captain's chairs, with space in between for accessing the third row of seats, which is a bench that comfortably seats three more.
All sliding doors are electric and automatic. The Lancia New Voyager features sensors built into the rear bumper to assist with parking and safety. The van comes equipped with the impressive and advanced U-Connect touchscreen onboard computer, offering an 8 inch touchscreen and Bluetooth capability. The climate controls are all situated to work in different zones, with the passenger compartment alone featuring two separate systems for heating and cooling different seating areas. The radio includes an MP3 hookup, as well as controls on the steering wheel for hands free use. There are charging plugs for electronic devices placed in various strategic spots throughout the cabin.
The entertainment system build into the Lancia New Voyager is technologically advanced but user friendly all the same. The sophisticated U-Connect system features radio, CD, DVD, MP3, WMA, and a useful USB port for hooking up any other devices you'd like to use. The rear view mirror has a microphone build in and is Bluetooth enabled, for hands free device use while driving. Each seating area has screens built-in in front of them, with a fold down screen for the center back row. And in case there is some disagreement about who want to watch what, the entertainment system will show two different media sources at once on different screens, and features headphone jacks at each seat.
