There are two trims of the Lincoln MKT SUV Crossover, the basic MKT trim style, and the EcoBoost MKT. The luxurious MKT comes standard with several electronic and modern amenities to include rear parking sensors, keyless entry and start, power liftgates and more. The interior wields several other amenities like backseat sun shades, an 8" touchscreen system that controls several electronic features, and voice control capabilities. Selecting the EcoBoost model adds complete voice-operated controls, entertainment system for the rear seats, automatic parallel parking feature and a panoramic sunroof. There is even an option for the EcoBoost model to have an in-car refrigerator and captain's chairs in the backseat. Under the hood, the EcoBoost model also has a 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers an impressive 355 hp. Despite the name however, the average mph for the Lincoln MKT SUV Crossover is 21 mpg, which is not necessarily the best rating in its class. It is also important to note that if you're looking to carry several passengers in your vehicle, then the MKT might be rather confined, and does not have the passenger capacity that a full-sized SUV would with 8 passenger seating. Additionally, if you carry cargo you might want to evaluate whether 76 cubic feet of cargo room is enough, while it is average for a crossover SUV, there are others on the market that have much more room for your belongings.

In terms of safety, the the Lincoln MKT SUV doesn't fall short with antilock brakes, front and side impact bags and stability control, and also offers an optional of cruise control. The integrated cruise control system is like none you have ever seen; the windshield will have warnings flashed detailing when cars surrounding you have slowed or when the system is sensing a stop. Like other new model Lincolns, there is also the option of incorporating the MyKey feature into the Lincoln MKT SUV Crossover, which will allow parents to restrict things like the radio volume and speed of the car. While it took Lincoln sometime to release a marketable and competitive crossover SUV, if you have the cash and don't need the headroom or plenty of cargo room, then the Lincoln MKT SUV Crossover would be perfect for either a fun personal or family car.
