I should have known that the GL 450 would have poor fuel economy with the V8 engine, but I didn't really think it would be this bad. I swear I am at the gas station constantly! That being said, it does accelerate well and remains very composed when passing. Can't really complain about noise either; sometimes I forget it's even running, if I'm parked. It is so quiet!
