2020 Audi A6 Now Has Four-Cylinder Power And More Standard Features

As expected, Audi announced that the 2020 Audi A6 will now house a four-cylinder engine for its 2.0T variant. This trim level slots below the V6-powered models and now has a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that makes a whopping 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This set pairs nicely with a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.

The four-cylinder model, like the rest of the A6 lineup, will come standard with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. There are more standard features compared to the 2019 model. For one, the Audi A6 will have LED headlights, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, 19-inch alloy wheels, lane departure warning, a navigation system, and Audi’s new MMI interface with two touchscreens.

The four-cylinder model won’t be available with the base model. It will only be fitted with two trim levels—the base Premium model and the mid-level Premium Plus. The 2020 Audi A6 2.0T Premium will sell for $55,095 while the Premium Plus will go for $58,795.

The 2020 model will have more options for its packages. The Convenience Package now offers a heated steering wheel while the Executive Package that’s available on the Premium Plus will get four-zone climate control, multi-colored ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a power-operated trunk, and heated rear seats.

If you want more bang, you can also choose the Black Optics package. The return prompts Audi to offer a gloss black grille and window surrounds for the four-cylinder A6. Buyers also have a choice to upgrade to 20-inch wheels, which is a standalone option and not part of the Black Optics package. For more comfort, luxury, and navigational features, buyers can also pay extra for Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, which can be paired with Google Earth maps and 4G LTE connectivity.
