Nissan Armada SUV Review

The Nissan Armada SUV is a full-sized SUV named for an entire fleet of ships to establish in the minds of consumers a vehicle with power and great capabilities. Powered by a V8 that was once the top in its class, the Nissan Armada SUV can still out-accelerate its competition and provide a towing capacity of 9,100 pounds that is truly impressive. Inside the vehicle, the cabin is spacious and can comfortably accommodate eight passengers.
There are three trim levels for the Nissan Armada SUV. The entry level model is the SV and includes automatic climate control with two zones, climate control for the rear, 18-inch alloy wheels, a driver seat with eight power controls, parking assist for the rear, a tilt steering wheel and an audio system with eight speakers and a six-disc CD changer in the dashboard. The midrange SL trim level for the Nissan Armada SUV adds fog lights, a tow package, leather upholstery, 20-inch alloy wheels, an auto-leveling rear air suspension, a third row seat that folds by power, a back-up camera and an upgraded audio system with 11 Bose speakers and satellite radio. The top-of-the-line Platinum version includes front seats and steering wheel that are heated, a navigation system with real-time traffic display, 20-inch chrome wheels, a power rear liftgate, memory functions for the driver seat a DVD entertainment system for the rear and a an audio system with Bose speakers and media storage of up to 9.3 Gigabytes.
The engine in the Nissan Armada SUV is a 5.6 liter V8 that is capable of producing 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission is a five-speed automatic while there is an option for either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Fuel economy for the Nissan Armada SUV is rated at 13 mpg in the city, 19 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg combined fir both the front-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. However, with the proper equipment the Nissan Armada SUV can tow up to 9,100 pounds.
The interior of the Nissan Armada SUV is attractive and comfortable and the materials are of above-average quality. The standard seating capacity of the vehicle is eight, made possible by a split bench in the second row. That number can drop to seven in the Platinum model with the option to have captain's chairs in the second row of seats. The third row, which is a split and folding bench, easily folds into the floor. With all seats in place, the cargo capacity is 20 cubic feet which increases to 97.1 cubic feet when all the seats are folded down.
The Nissan Armada SUV is a rather safe vehicle with scores of five stars for driver protection and four stars for passenger protection using the government-rated crash tests.
The V8 engine of the Nissan Armada SUV makes for a strong and powerful performance on the road with a generally comfortable ride that can at times be harsh over larger ruts and bumps in the road. The massive weight of the SUV provides a comfortable ride yet can make maneuvering in parking lots more difficult and coming to an abrupt stop more challenging.
Might be, but this big Nissan has its better days behind it.

This vehicle saved my life!Head on with a Semi.Probably the only reason im still here.Highly recommended.
The Armada is an awesome vehicle. It's got a great ride and has a very roomy interior. I previously had an Expedition and the rear seat has more leg room. There's also more room behind that rear seat (which, of course folds flat at the touch of a button). It seems more massive all the way around, and more muscular than the Sequoia. Suburban/Yukon's don't even come close in Interior or Exterior design. My only flaw: The gas mileage. But MOST BIG SUV's have the same issue...
Good car but vary poor interior. Its all plastic and it breaks like a cake. It happened twice and those are not cheap to fix. I rather buy different car in this price range.
Coming in competitions with Chevrolet Tahoe and Toyota Sequoia, Armada is more powered and featured for 2012 voyage. With a 5.6-liter V-8 engine and standard five-speed automatic transmission its going to be a big player on road.
