Saturn Outlook SUV Review

For anyone who has the need to take vast quantities of cargo or people from one place to another the Saturn Outlook was in the top choices. As a General Motors vehicle it did very well in terms of pleasing the large SUV fan. However, just like many of the rising stars that fell when the financial crisis of 2009 nearly wiped out the American car industry, the Saturn Outlook did not survive. If you're looking for a quality used SUV that can run large quantities of people or things from one place to another, the Outlook is a serious option.
Simply due to the spacious and generous size the Saturn Outlook is not the most responsive or fun when you're behind the wheel. Some consumers have even equated it to driving a small bus. However, with a stylish finish and the large load capacity the payoff seemed well worth it if it fit your needs.
The styling is very much like that of a car, especially if you simply view the front end. The hope was to create enough car like distinction for the Saturn Outlook to offset its rather cumbersome appearance otherwise. It works. The overall style is one that will allow consumers to look like they are driving something sporty and fresh while still being the first person to call when friends and family members want to move something big and heavy.
With more than 100 cubic feet of cargo room the Saturn Outlook is capable of seating eight real life people comfortably. The interior was styled to be especially attractive and offers the consumer that quality "feel" when looking out from the inside. Interior structuring was done with the comfort of the driver to the passenger all the way in the last seat as the focal point. While in motion the Saturn Outlook provides a nice even, smooth ride that eludes to having a smaller vehicle. The unibody structure of the frame is exactly why. This design feature also helps when it comes to improving fuel efficiency and handling. Responsiveness isn't its strongest characteristic, but the unibody frame does help to ensure that there is enough responsiveness to drive comfortably.
The Saturn Outlook was up against the standard full size SUVs in its class, making a marked difference on the sticker price. Many of the competitors were priced well above the Saturn and therefore sold faster. Had there been more concentrated efforts on promoting the Outlook it is quite possible that there would have been a much higher level of public interest.
The Saturn Outlook was offered in two trim styles and each had the same basic safety equipment. Stability control, antilock brakes, airbags for the front seat, and airbag curtains that ensured all three rows were well covered in the event of an accident. The alloy wheels, heated outside mirrors, additional rear seat climate control features, power accessories, sound system that included stereo, CD player, MP3 plug in line, and satellite radio were standard equipment of both vehicles.

I purchase Outlook XR because it has just enough room, comfort, space, ride, looks, features, in a SUV.
