Cadillac Escalade ESV

Review

The Cadillac Escalade ESV 2WD is essentially just a long-wheelbase version of the Cadillac Esplanade. The Espanade shares its platform with the Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, and Silverado, as well as the GMC versions. It's a proper full size truck, big on space and luxury. The ESV version packs the same monster engine 6.2 liter V8 developing over 400HP and over 400 lb-ft of torque. This SUV can really fly - despite the sheer size and weight. The ESV is available as an All Wheel Drive version and Cadillac have recently introduced a gas/electric hybrid Escalade. All Escalade's come with StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with roll-over mitigation for occupant protection. There is tons of room inside the ESV version for passengers and their luggage - a trunk capacity of 16.9 cu. ft., 7 seats in place, and a whopping 60.3 cu. ft. with the third row of seats removed. The 26 gallon gas tank gives a good range and with excellent refinement and luxurious fittings, you will arrive in style. Such style features include 22-inch chromed aluminium wheels, Fully Functioning LED Headlamps, Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) technology, leather-trimmed upper door segments, console and instrument panel and Rear-seat entertainment with two 7" diagonal independent DVD screens integrated into the front headrests and two independent 8" overhead screens!
