Chevrolet Suburban

Review

The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LS 1500 2WD was a case of wrong time, wrong place. The monster truck came to be the example environmentalists loved to hate. This is a real SUV that is meant to be used, with a chassis designed to cope with heavy towing or rough terrain. This is not a "crossover", which is essentially industry jargon for a compact, fuel efficient car with a SUV makeover, this is the real deal. The Chevrolet Suburban was revised in 2007 so there are no major changes for the 2009/2009 model years. As standard on the Suburban LS 1500 model, there also is - cloth interior, power locks and windows, power steering, air conditioning, tinted windows, roof rails, folding heated mirrors, recovery hooks, a seven-wire trailer harness, 17-inch aluminum wheels, three power outlets, AM/FM/CD/MP3 sound system with eight speakers, XM Satellite Radio, center fold-down armrest with storage, overhead console, cruise control, 40/20/40 split front bench seat with six-way power adjustment for the driver, 60/40 second-row seat, and third row split bench seat. A rear-view camera and monitor is an option, these rear-view cameras make turning around in tight spots a breeze and make parallel parking easier and quicker and come in really handy when positioning the Suburban to hook up a trailer.
