Dodge Nitro Review
The 2009 Dodge Nitro SE 4X2 is a mid-size sport utility vehicle with a unique look - squared off front end and flared arches makes it look much more imposing than it actually is. Unlike many other mid-sized SUVs, the Dodge Nitro SE is easy to recognise (even though the Nitro shares its platform with the Jeep Liberty). The Nitro looks and feels much larger than its size, with a higher seating position that most SUV owners prefer, and has excellent interior space. The Dodge Nitro has a special feature called "Load 'n' Go" - this is a unique interior storage system where the rear seats (and front passenger seat) can be folded totally flat in just seconds. In addition, the cargo floor slides out over the rear bumper, making the loading of heavy objects easy. The Dodge Nitro SE 4X2 is the two wheel drive variant offered with a 4.0L V6 and 4 speed automatic transmission. The Dodge Nitro SE 4X2 has many safety features fitted as standard which are only available as options on other SUVs - side curtain air bags, electronic stability control and traction control, brake assist and roll mitigation electronics. The squared off styling also makes it easier to manoeuvre and gives good visibility.
