Lexus RX 350

Review

The Lexus RX 350 is the latest incarnation of the best selling Lexus RX300. To sum up the changes - more power, more soundproofing, improved handling and better fuel economy. Considering the old RX300 received rave reviews for its refinement, build quality and luxury, the RX350 has a lot to offer anyone seeking a crossover with all the benefits of a luxury sedan, along with the utility of an SUV. The RX 300 quickly became the best-selling vehicle for good reason. The new 3.5L V6 270HP engine offers startling performance for a mid-sized SUV (0-60mph in 7.4 seconds!) and the powertrain is still virtually silent. If you are looking for a luxury 5 seater SUV, with enough space for a young family plus all their luggage, which can transport you over long distances in comfort and is effortless to drive, then the RX 350 is a top candidate in this very competitive luxury crossover market segment. However, the Lexus RX 350 FWD is no workhorse - if you need to regularly tow heavy loads up rutted mountain tracks this vehicle is not ideal, especially this FWD model. The chassis is designed for the road, essentially a car with some utility, what used to be called a (luxury) station wagon.
