Luxury SUVs don't come any larger than the Lincoln Navigator L 4X2. The "L" denotes a stretched version of the already roomy Lincoln navigator. With an extra 15 inches in length, the Lincoln Navigator L has an additional 24cu.ft. of cargo capacity. Although many will see this vehicle as a typical example of excess, with it's 3 ton curb weight and the lashings on "in your face" chrome, Lincoln insist this model was created due to existing customer demands for more space. The Navigator boasts classy and spacious interior, smooth and comfortable ride over all road surfaces, excellent cabin refinement and huge towing capacity (up to 8,850 pounds). Available in two or four wheel drive and seating 7 (8 seat specification as no cost option), the Lincoln's main opposition is the Cadillac Escalade ESV. As you would expect for a luxury SUV in this class, the level of standard equipment is high including 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, power-retracting running boards, retractable mirrors, full leather upholstery, 10-way power front seats, dual-zone climate control and a nine-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD changer and an MP3 input jack. Undercutting the Cadillac Escalade ESV by a considerable margin, if you need a supersized luxury SUV, the Lincoln Navigator L 4X2 makes a lot of sense.
