Review

The redesigned Porsche Cayenne combines legendary Porsche sports car performance with convenient SUV utility. The all-wheel drive, five-passenger Porsche Cayenne is available in a Base, an S, and a Turbo trim. The Base is powered by a 290 hp 3.6-liter V6 engine mated to a six-speed manual or an optional Tiptronic S six-speed automatic transmission. The S is powered by a 385 hp 4.8-liter V8 and the Turbo comes with a 500 hp twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 and both are mated to a Tiptronic S six-speed automatic transmission. The Cayenne can be equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), a conventional moon roof or a panoramic roof system, Bi-Xenon headlamps, power memory seats, 4-zone climate control and a Bose surround sound system.  For 2009, the Porsche Cayenne receives a minor exterior redesign and more powerful engines.
