The Saturn Vue is an all new model for 2009. After five years on the market as an American manufactured crossover, the Vue has evolved into a steel unit body crossover based on a German Opel Antara (sold in Europe with an economical diesel engine). Powered by a 222 horsepower 3.5L V6, the new Vue has good performance, is comfortable for five with plenty of storage space, and has tons of personality. Built in Mexico, it's easily the best Saturn SUV to date. The Saturn Vue has a full range of safety equipment as standard, with whiplash protection, daytime Running Lights, driver and passenger frontal air bags, front side-impact air bags, head air bags, front seatbelt pre tensioners, front-wheel drive, height adjustable front shoulder belts, ABS and traction and stability control systems to prevent skidding (StabiliTrak). The XE has a good specification for the base model of the range including remote keyless entry, tire pressure monitor system, cruise control, driver information center, powered doorlocks and windows and 4-speed automatic transmission. In addition all Saturn models come with one year free OnStar (a comprehensive crash and theft notification and assistance program).
