Get ready for the ultimate object of desire Porsche Cayenne 2017

There is never a dull day in our favorite world of machines. With every crack of the dawn, there is a new piece of story waiting to tickle our appetite for spice. Of course, we are not complaining. It is this spiced up world that we are all so fond of, it is this jazz that keeps us going. Which is exactly the reason why when we heard Porsche Cayenne 2017 is under making to amaze us, we couldn’t contain our excitement and thought of sharing it with everyone who has an ear for great news.

So, if you have been following what the chic car brand has been up to, you will know that the second generation Porsche Cayenne was unveiled in October at the prestigious Paris Motor Show 2014. Those who were present there were of course drooling and wondering at the same time – will the upcoming Porsche Cayenne 2017 be a lot different from what we are expecting it to be.

The deal here is that the air is packed with speculations. There are a lot of rumors doing rounds and it is very difficult to place your hand on one thing and believe that it is true. So, due to the lack of any confirmation, let us just go with the fact that the 2017 is going to be mind blowing. What makes us say that? Well, it is because we have seen signs of magnificence and we are expecting nothing short of a stunner. The first thing that caught our eyes was the all new steering and the S-trim with a hybrid feel. By all means, it appeared to be lighter than all its previous versions and that has got us even more hopeful about the third generation Porsche Cayenne 2017.

Now let us get to know the new machine a little better than we already do. The upcoming Porsche Cayenne 2017 is likely to adhere to the ultimately novel platform set by Volkswagen. And, mind you, it is not the only one here. There are many machines all set to share the platform with this one and all of these are strong contenders we must say.  The Detroit motor show is going to present these to the world as early as January 2015, however, it will be a long wait before these will reach the market. Some of the amazing names that are mentioned in the same breath are SUV by Bentley, Lamborghini Urus and many more like Audi Q7.

Experts are of the view that the redesigned Porsche Cayenne 2017 is expected to sweep everyone off the floor, for it is at least 100 kgs lighter than the model that is running on the roads, not to mention the re-touched front, a grander grille and more defined and macho wheel curves. Even the bonnet has been revamped and it already looks quite a sight, even though there is only so much we know about it!

2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo: Still Undercover

Curiosity is a very interesting thing as it keeps a person enchanted about the products that are yet to hit the market;  especially when it is about something as special as a futuristic SUV. For 2016, Porsche has kept its Cayenne Turbo still undercover, but the spy images leaked of this most anticipated vehicle have raised the eyebrows. Although, they have failed to grab much attention because there is a lot that has to be done before reaching to the final conclusion and according to spy images, it is too early to make any judgments about 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Currently, Porsche has been working actively on suspension, exterior and interior trim, drive train and technology while testing it on several performance parameters. Delay in final announcement from Porsche is also keeping all the attention for Cayenne Turbo at bay, still we have managed to jot down an outline that can help in understanding what exactly the 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo will have to offer.

As per the leaked spy images, the new Cayenne Turbo exteriors will remain largely unchanged and will be strikingly similar to its current generation cousin with almost similar grille, bumper and design. However, we cannot be really sure about the drive train because the official confirmation is still awaited and seems to be distant dream. But if we make judgments based on the images, we can say that minor changes in head lamps are likely as they will add to its visual athletic appeal.

It is also speculated that 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo will have fairly comfortable interiors with work done on details minutely to meet the technology and refinement. It is expected that Porsche will soon make revelations about its additional upgrades in interior. However, things get little excited under the hood with amazing technical upgrades along with the speculation of refined hybrid variant. To be christened as Cayenne S Hybrid, the eco friendly version is most likely to come with 3.0 liter has hybrid engine, which will be lifted directly from Porsche’s Panamera S E hybrid, with the expected 416 BHP and 435 ft lb of torque. The speculated performance figures are relatively high if compared to the overall weight of the vehicle, which can also put this giant a way ahead in competition.

Even though we cannot reveal actual details about 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo without any actual information, but we can actually try to recreate the driving experience by making comparison with its current generation model. 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo should be able to accelerate from – to 60 MPH within 6 seconds with the top speed of 155 MPH, it is also expected that the Hybrid version of Cayenne Turbo should return approximately 20/24MPG city/highway, which is considered decent for this class.

With no official announcement coming out from Porsche it is too early to speculate about 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo’s price. Porsche has been planning to launch this SUV by the mid of 2015, which seems a good news for Porsche customers. So keep looking for this reliable, efficient, economical and highly spacious urban commuter.

Lamborghini’s SUV to be Produced Earlier Than Previously Stated!

Earlier we reported how the Lamborghini’s gorgeous compact SUV, Urus saw some hindrances in its pre-production life. It’s production itself was in jeopardy for some time. The company’s CEO, Stephan Winkelman later stated that the Urus will go under production by 2017. Lamborghini fans and those who are waiting for the Urus hold your breath, for the SUV is all set to go under production very soon!

After all the problems that the Urus faced regarding its production, the SUV has finally received the final green light. The CEO disclosed that the SUV will be out in the markets pretty soon. However, he did not disclose the exact date. “We’re going low profile now,” Winkelmann declared. “I can’t tell you much on details now, but when we get close to the launch, we will have more.” It seems as if the company might have introduced even more amazing changes in the already gorgeous SUV! Time will tell!

The production of the SUV was delayed last year due to the economic conditions of the European markets. The company developed the SUV further during this phase. Now the Urus is all set to be manufactured. Winkelman also declared that although the Chinese mrket has been a huge boon for Lamborghini, the nation has cut low on the purchases of end trim luxury items. Hence, the best markets for the Urus shall be Japan, the gulf countries and the United States of America.

Besides the fact that it is a Lambo SUV, there are a number of enthralling things about the Urus which ensure that the SUV is capable of being better than all others in the market! Urus will be much lighter than its competitors as its body is to be made up of carbon fibre. The main competitors like the Volkswagen Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, etc. all will be at least a hundred kilograms heavier than the Urus. An interesting thing to note here is that all these three SUVs share the same platform with the Urus, the MQB platform. Also, Lamborghini’s being eco-friendly with this one as the engine has been paired with a hybrid system using an electric motor for developing the torque. The engine that we speak of here is not a small one. We are referring to an insane 4000cc V8 engine here! This hybrid system is further coupled with an all-wheel drive drivetrain. We are hoping for a six speed automatic transmission on this one. The SUV will definitely blow any speed freak’s mind off high up into the air!

Now that the company’s CEO has himself stated that the vehicle will be out for production really soon, a spark has risen among buyers and lovers. Lamborghini now hopes to keep it low with the news as it plans on making the hopes and anticipations insane until the launching dates come up. We hope of seeing no more hindrances in the production of the beautiful vehicle. However, we will keep you updated!

Maserati Levante – “Made in Italy”

Heavily anticipated new Maserati Levante is going to be a “Latin blend” of fashion, a blend of what else but the amazing BMW X6 and the luxurious Porsche Cayenne. Albeit originally planned to built in a Chrysler US factory in Detroit, the muscularly styled SUV is now expected to be produced in Italy due to the strong and growing demand for Jeep products and hence a need for a stronger factory to support its production. Along with what is said about the new Maserati Levante having mixed influences from the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X6, the 2011 Maserati Kubang concept could also provide a clue for the new SUV’s visual character. However, this is just a clue not the actual styling! The key to what the new Maserati actually is road-based dynamics, deft athletic styling, room for five and a plush cabin.

What powers the Maserati’s luxury sports SUV is the company’s new twin turbocharged 3.0 liter petrol V6 engine generating 410 brake horsepower and a twin turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 producing a massive 530 brake horsepower. With twin turbos, direct injection, variable valve timing and an intercooler for each turbo, Levante’s would be a fully modern mill. A 271 bhp 3.0 liter V6 turbodiesel will be the key powerplant for Europe. All engine options will be linked to an eight speed automatic transmission making the on road dynamics of the SUV a delight to experience. Along with prancing horsepower, amazing transmission, a version of the ‘Q4’ all wheel drive system is adapted in the new Levante from its application in the new Ghilbi and Quattroporte models from the firm.

This all wheel drive system which already makes the Ghilbi a horse with some real giddy-up, will be modified to be used in the Maserati’s sports ute for its dual purpose role for the all new Levante is expected to follow the footsteps of sister brand Jeep’s on its expertise in rough terrain capabilities. Simply means that the levanter will be equally good an off-roader as it’s going to be an amazing on-road luxury ute. While the structure for Levante will draw on Quattroporte and Ghilbi, its electronics will come from Chrysler and Jeep. Since the Levante gets part of its powertrain and outfit from Ghilbi and Quattroporte, it won’t be surprising if the luxurious yet athletic SUV contains a high level of weight-saving aluminum in its body and suspension.

Maserati boss Herald Wester says the Levante is likely to be Italian built although not at the new Grugliasco plant which is home to the Ghilbi and Quattroporte since the beast is way too big for the body-framing equipment and paint plant to handle. The very fact that Maserati’s new SUV is somewhat a blend of Cayenne and BMW X6 makes it a worthy opponent for the two. X5 is also a sports ute that stands against the Levante. With its defined looks that come from the competitors and its sashaying drive that comes with the tag “Maserati”, this SUV is one to look forward to!

2013 Porsche Cayenne S Diesel – Stronger Than Ever!

2013 Porsche Cayenne S DieselIf your appetite for speed and insane power is yet to be fulfilled, then prepare yourself for the new 2013 Porsche Cayenne S Diesel! Porsche has planned to launch the new 2013 model of the Cayenne S with a powerful diesel engine, which will make the SUV faster and better than ever!

Porsche’s Cayenne is a very popular 5-seater SUV, which has always been a darling among SUV lovers. It has always featured strong engines, but the new 2013 Cayenne S Diesel now boasts a much stronger 4200cc twin-turbocharged V8 engine! This is enough to make even the most insane speed freaks’ hearts pump frantically! The Cayenne has enormous power of 381 horsepower and staggering torque of 626.9 lb. ft.! Porsche’s own supercar, the 911 Turbo S features a torque of 516 lb. ft.! Porsche’s older Cayenne model featured a 3600 cc engine, and produced torque of 295 lb. ft. Now we know how insane the new Cayenne’s engine is! The system working behind this is the unique torque management that Cayenne incorporates. Torque produced by the engine is mostly used by the rear wheels, and is sent to the front only when an absolutely mandatory condition arises.

Further, the engine is capable of thrusting the Cayenne to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometres per hour approx.) in about 5.7 seconds! If you were thinking that the top speed approachable by the Cayenne won’t be very much, then you’re wrong, as the machine is capable of reaching a top speed of 157 miles per hour (252 kilometres per hour approx.)!

Porsche hasn’t bought about any notable changes in the car’s design and looks. It looks just like the old petrol version, but on close observation you will notice the different front grills. The new Cayenne has black ones, and the air inlets are much more prominent than before, giving Cayenne a very aggressive and stylish look. Also, Porsche realised that the braking system needs to be enhanced for the new 4200cc engine. Consequently, Cayenne now features a new braking system, which has a direct impact on the handling of the vehicle. Yes, you now have a much stronger engine with greatly increased handling! The improved braking system and the little improvements, accompanied by the strong engine make the new Cayenne much better than before!

Everything about the Cayenne is convenient! You will be getting a 100 litre fuel tank with the SUV, which is huge enough for the longest of car trips. The car claims an average of 34 miles per gallon. Throw in some mathematics and you will know that you will have to get your tank filled only after 700 miles!
