Taking a big leap in 2015, Toyota is all set to launch its 2015 Toyota Venza, which is loosely based on its FT SX concept introduced long back in 2006. Japanese automaker Toyota produced this concept and gained momentum in market as one of the most prestigious auto maker. The car maker has taken a step ahead with its innovation and is going to launch the upgraded version of Toyota Venza during its premier this year. 2015 Toyota Venza is basically a midsized four wheeler SUV designed specifically to meet the requirements of a family. While upgrading this car for 2015 market, the company has kept all its stakes in improving its comfort, safety, design and efficiency.

Talking about the specifications of 2015 Toyota Venza, the first thing that we noticed about this newly redesigned SUV is its availability in variety of engines depending on individual requirements. The first type of engine that we came across is a utility based 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine with the ability to provide 181 to 268 horse power of energy. The second type of engine is a V6 program version 3.5 liter engine and has the ability to provide power efficient for a midsized SUV. It completely a customers’ choice which engine they wish to buy but going by the experience, it is usually said that the second engine version is the restricted edition from the organization rest it’s your choice.

The outer body of 2015 Toyota Venza has been completely redesigned and has become more attractive and thinner if compared to its previous versions. The new version comes with Firefox facility and the changed light design to give an improved cabin look to the insides. The company has paid great attention to passenger comfort and has designed seats by maintaining proper spaces to make them comfortable for all. The redesigned interior adds to the comfort level of its cabin. The Japanese car maker has introduced 2015 Toyota Venza in market in three color options namely Cypress pearl, Cosmic Gray Mica and Attitude Black, all are considered to be classic for Toyota and look highly aesthetic for an SUV of this class. Safety has also been given the top priority and with that company has managed to fill the loopholes of its previous versions.

The expected price of 2015 Toyota Venza can be approximately $30000 and is also expected to launch by the end of the year. So if you are on a budget of $30000 and is constant search for comfortable family SUV car, then there can be no better option than 2015 Toyota Venza as it is the best available bet in the market at this price range. It will be a complete waste if you buy an outdated version SUV with moderate variation in price because the price you will pay for its features and specifications is worth of every penny you spend on it. Still the final choice is yours and it depends on your preferences what kind of family SUV you wish to spend on.

2015 Toyota Prado: A Delight to Drive Cruiser

In 2015 Toyota is all set to hit the SUV market in the beginning with its Toyota Prado, which belongs to its land cruiser range and is produced by the Toyota Motor Corporation. Being an upgraded version of Toyota land Cruiser series, the all new 2015 Toyota Prado is completely redesigned to shed off all the drawbacks that have hampered the sale of its predecessors. The outer body has been redesigned completely with several noticeable changes along with improvements in cabin to make it even more comfortable for the passengers. The use of modern technology has resulted in the Prado’s increased efficiency and improved strength.

The attractive exterior of 2015 Toyota Prado can surely give its current model a run for its money because in the new design company has sharpened its lines along with its front grill, which is also enflamed to make it look dapper. Hot and cold seat facility has been added in 2015 version along with food and drinks storage boxes in the car cabin. Its redesigned interior has played a great role in increasing comfort level to many notches up also its new furniture has soft edges that make seats highly pleasant.

If we talk about its under the hood features, you will find that company is offering Prado with two engine options wherein the first engine is 2.7 liter four cylinder whereas the other is one based on V6 program and is also more power efficient is compared to the first one. The car maker has designed the sitting posture of the inside cabin in such a way that it will ensure not only comfort for the passengers but also safety. LED lamps and LED lights play a major role is designing its attractive interior making it highly apprehensive. For providing entertainment to its passengers, 2015 Toyota Prado has included LED screen on the dashboard which included DVD facility making it a complete entertainer for a long trip. Because the car maker has reduced the weight of Prado almost by 60kgs for 2015, the car has become even more fuel efficient for the buyers.

To conclude the review, it can be said easily that 2015 Toyota Prado belongs to that class of SUVs, which have been redesigned specifically in 2015 to increase its efficiency if compared to their current available versions. This is among the cars that have the power to offer best driving experience on road as well as off road. The 2015 Toyota Prado is likely to hit the market by end of this year or maximum by the beginning of 2015 and is expected to price around $ 80000, the company has not announced any official date yet and the price is still speculated going by its plethora of features. No doubt 2015 Toyota Prado is a bit expensive and not meant for those looking for a futuristic SUV on a tight budget. But of you are in search of a good SUV then this surely makes a safest bet with fuel efficiency and attractive styling difficult to find in this class.

2014 Toyota Sequoia: Remains Unchanged

In today’s world there will hardly be anyone who will deny the captivating appeal of crossover SUVs as they have become the most preferred mode of luxury transport for those who love to spend on vehicles. In such appeasing market of small crossovers, Toyota has come forward with its traditional style SUV 2014 Toyota Sequoia to challenge the mass appeal of crossover SUV as still there are handful of buyers who love to take a ride in old school SUVs which are a beautiful amalgamation of towing muscle and seating capacity for a big family. This truck based SUV from Toyota has been given thumbs up by some of the critics for its refinement and powerful packaging which surely make it a worth purchase of this kind.

To keep things simple and unchanged, Toyota has used the platform of its Toyota Tundra to build the modified version of Sequoia for 2014. The new 8 passenger 2014 Toyota Sequoia comes with the powerful 318 horsepower 5.7 liter V8 engine, which is uncommonly smooth for a crossover of this kind and delivers robust acceleration when driving on busy streets during weekdays. It also has the power to tow trailers up to 7.400 pounds during the weekends if looking for a tough and long weekend getaway. With decent handling performance, Sequoia offers comfortable ride to make it worthwhile. Inside the Sequoia you will find comfortable and spacious cabin and to make things more interesting for passengers, Toyota has made the seating flexible and has enough room to accommodate 8 passengers comfortably. Even the base model of 2014 Toyota Sequoia comes well equipped with all the standard features that a Toyota comes with, whereas the higher trim levels of Sequoia offer a host of standard features which are at par if compared with a upscale luxury sedan.

If you are among those SUV lovers who have almost no liking for the towing capabilities of 2014 Toyota Sequoia, then lighter duty three row crossover SUVs are the ideal option for you. Such SUVs are easier to live within day to day life and also offer excellent fuel economy as compared to the likes of Toyota Sequoia.

When it comes to the alternative for 2014 Toyota Sequoia the list is quite impressive as the SUV market is flourished with midsize as well as traditional SUVs that are far better than Toyota’s version. The closest competitor for 2014 Toyota Sequoia is 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, which is roomier than latter and the second one is Dodge Durango, which has more towing capacity even with its small size. In traditional full size SUV segment the nearest competition for Sequoia comes from Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and Ford Expedition as they all come with their own distinct appeals, but lack the features package that comes handy with Sequoia. Even though 2014 Toyota Sequoia is not meant for every SUV lover, but we still recommend it to those who give importance to a vehicle that can provide comfortable seats to small crowd, tow big trails and most importantly do both the things at the same time.

2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser

As the market bids adieu to the Toyota FJ Cruiser this year, the automaker is set to bid adieu back by releasing a special edition of the FJ Cruiser. The 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser will be an off roader at its heart. This Ultimate Edition of the Cruiser will be limited, translating to only 2,500 vehicles of the type. Dipped in the hue of Heritage Blue, this limited edition of the Toyota FJ Cruiser will feature a color matched roof as well.

Toyota has been an automaker known well for its safe playing, incorporating more conventional designs in its releases. In a scenario like that, the Toyota FJ Cruiser is an oddity, and a nice one. The FJ Cruiser is a funky coupe that still proudly boasts the retro and quirky styling even after eight years since its debut. And don’t let that fun styling fool you. The emblematic styling of the Toyota FJ Cruiser conceals some amazing off road potential. This makes the 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser an amazingly uncommon vehicle, not just among all the other Toyotas but also among all the SUVs in the market. It is extremely sad to watch such a wonderful vehicle leave.

The 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser boasts a 4.0 liter V6 engine that is good for 260 ponies and 271 pound feet of twist. The standard FJ Cruiser comes with a five speed automatic transmission coupled with a rear wheel drive. The all wheel drive systems come in two options. While one is a four wheel drive system clubbed to the five speed automatic, the other is a full time all four wheel drive system coupled with a six speed automatic transmission along with a rear locking differential.

There are no trim levels for the 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This unique vehicle remains unique in every possible sense. The five passenger vehicle cruises on 17 inch steel wheels. Taller than the conventional five seater SUVs, the 2014 Toyota FJ Cruises looks interesting due to its distinctive doors. In its very modest modeling, the Toyota FJ Cruiser sports full power accessories along with every other feature one could ever need. The Infotainment system of the 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser is also an impressive collection of features. The additional features, according to one’s need, can be availed in form of packages. There is the Convenience package that adds features like enhanced traction control, leather covered steering wheel and an 11 speaker JBL surround sound system. An option of 16 inch alloy wheels also prevails.

The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition package will make a grand entry later this year and it will add to the FJ Cruiser, a tuned TRD suspension, especially for the model. This model would roll on 16 inch bead-lock tires that compliment the off road terrains beautifully. The Trail Teams Cruiser will be painted in Heritage Blue and will encapsulate a majority of the features from the above told packages.

The 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser seems to have gotten the best it could be. While the news of a such a vehicle taking retirement, left many SUV lovers crestfallen, the fact that it leaves with a bang, is a happy note to say goodbye on.

2014 Toyota Sequoia

While there is a fair share of customers who would drool over the crossovers that are in rage today, there still remain a whole lot of customers that would never compromise with their tastes for a conventional truck-like SUV. There is a sort of old world charm about these humungous vehicles, their strength like Hercules, to tow up a million pounds and their amazing capacity to seat a fair number of passengers. No crossover, no matter how big, can provide the same essence of a traditional SUV. The Toyota Sequoia is one such traditional SUV. Built on an enhanced version of the platform that underpins the Toyota Tundra, the 2014 Toyota Sequoia is a perfect blend of power and sophistication.

The eight-seater is powered by a 5.7 liter V8 engine. The grunt produces about 381 ponies which is a fine amount of power for a vehicle this size, along with 401 pound feet of torque. The transmission mated to the engine of the 2014 Toyota Sequoia is a six speed automatic, coupled to a rear wheel drive. Since the SUV is truck-based, an available four wheel drive model with low range gearing is somewhat like a protocol. The monstrous SUV takes a sprint time of merely 6.7 seconds to accelerate from rest to 60 mph, which is pretty quick for a vehicle in this niche. The fuel economy for a rear wheel drive model is rated at 15 mpg combine, and that for all wheel drive is 14 mpg combined, sadly low. The 2014 Toyota Sequoia offers its driver with an impressive and vigorous acceleration and its engine drives amazingly smooth, to a lot of people’s surprise. The beast carries strength to tow up to a whopping 7,400 pounds. The handling is fine and the ride, comfortable.

The comfort that the SUV offers doesn’t come from just the ride quality it sports, but also from the spacious cabin and the seating inside the vehicle that is as roomy as to comfortably accommodate eight passengers. Available in three trim levels viz. the SR5, Limited and Platinum, the 2014 Toyota Sequoia comes fairly well equipped even at the base level. As the luxury quotient of the SUV rises up, in all its glory, a 2014 Toyota Sequoia offers features and comfort that are comparable to a lot of luxury sedans. The interiors sport fine quality material and elegant styling, thus balancing the truck based genesis of the SUV. The infotainment system has been upgraded for this model year and that remains the only change in the 2014 Toyota Sequoia as compared to the last model year.

For those who don’t feel much need of a vehicle as heavy duty as a 2014 Toyota Sequoia, there are other options available in the market, such as the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, which too, is a three row crossover. Or if you look for a vehicle even more powerful that the Sequoia, the 2014 Infiniti QX80 is more beastly, more luxurious and more athletic. However, the 2014 Toyota Sequoia is a perfect choice for old school SUV lovers.

The 2014 Toyota 4Runner

Usually, the SUVs these days don’t combine the utility part and sports part in a vehicle as much as they should. More, often than not, it is either of the two! And due to the “sports” part lacking a bit more than the utilities, most of the times we end up with SUVs that are amazing on roaders but not so impressive off roaders. Toyota, however, seems to be on spree of making vehicle that are just as amazing off roaders along with impressive styling and utility. One such SUV is 2014 Toyota 4Runner.

The 2014 Toyota 4Runner is an off roader, essentially. The good old body on frame architecture of the SUV implies the same. The suspension in this midsized SUV is such that, no matter how rough of a terrain you choose to test it, the SUV, and you, will come out whole and alive. Cruising on a four wheel drive, featuring low range gearing along with an option rear locking differential almost makes the 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser almost glide through challenging terrains.

The 2014 Toyota 4Runner is powered by a 4.0 liter V6 grunt which effectively supplies about 270 horsepower and produces 278 pound feet of torque. Along with that engine, which is standard, comes the standard five speed automatic transmission. The 4Runner comes in three trim levels, namely, the SR5, Trail and Limited. The SR5 is the standard Toyota 4Runner with the above mentioned powertrain. The Limited Toyota 4Runner has an available rear wheel drive along with the four wheel drive, while the Trail’s engine is coupled only to a four wheel drive system.

The 2014 Toyota 4Runner, in all its glory, can manage to tow a whopping 4,700 pounds. Impressive for a vehicle this size!

A 2014 Toyota 4Runner SR5 running on a rear wheel drive is capable of reaching 60 mph from rest in a sprint time of 7.2 seconds, while a 2014 Toyota 4Runner Trail equipped with a four wheel drive takes 8.2 seconds. The fuel economy of the rear wheel drive models rate at 19 mpg combined, while that for four wheel drives rates at 18 mpg combined. The numbers are not as impressive as they should be, considering the fact that the 2014 Toyota 4Runner is an off road centered SUV with a V6 that runs on gas.

While most of the SUVs feature driving dynamics good for finely paved roads, the 2014 Toyota 4Runner lives for the rugged terrains. While the SUV is capable of driving anyone to work in an easy and comfortable ride, it is also capable of making you slide through severe crests and troughs without even a hint of bounciness. The vehicle’s transmission provides precise shifts as well.

The 2014 Toyota 4Runner is an off roader in essence. One of the toughest rivals to the 4Runner is the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee but the 2014 Toyota 4Runners takes it away with an available third row of seats and a better cargo capacity. Other rivals include the 2014 Dodge Durango and the 2014 Volkswagen Touareg.

2013 Toyota Sequoia – Reworked…Slightly!

Toyota Sequoia 2013

Toyota has taken a chivalrous step with the launch of the upgraded model of truck-based 2013 Sequoia SUV, even as the number of vehicles become rarer with increasing preference of fuel economy every progressing model year. Buyers who are not keen for off-roading or towing capabilities are switching to crossovers and small utility vehicles. But if off-roading qualifies as a requirement, then the new Sequoia is perfectly set to work for such customers.

The basic revamps are attributed to comfort and safety while the 2013 Sequoia offers minor mechanical under the hood transformations which seek attention. Although the Sequoia may have the bones of Tundra, Toyota’s big pickup, the ride is rather pleasing. The adaptive air suspension of the Platinum trim is meant to regulate comfort and riding pleasure. The 5.7L V8-engine’s quenching thirst for continuous supply of fuels shall not be awarded for any earth-saving accomplishments, yet it shall ensure smooth motion, acceleration, and with ultra-premium luxury. While just buying the Sequoia for the sake of hauling numerous people, alternatives lie in smaller, higher on fuel economy and easier to maneuver, crossovers; whereas towing requirements are best served by the SUV.

2013-toyota-sequoia

The new Sequoia offers seating capabilities for 7 or 8 members depending upon model selection while providing three trim variants – SR5, Limited and Platinum – each rendering both manual and automatic drive options. The exteriors remain aesthetically unaltered for the most part. It offers aerodynamically friendly mirrors, wipers, and roof rack as previous models. In addition, the newer version has headlamp washers to ensure vision as bright and clear as possible. The Limited package brings along various new upgrades like power-retracing and glare resistant mirrors along with turn controls mounted on the mirror. An upgrade to the Platinum model features additional puddle lamps mounted on the mirror, and also mirror position memory. Sequoia also bundles along a set of front and rear parking sensors essential for proper placement of the behemoth.

The interiors are pretty much unchanged from the last year’s model featuring 60/40 split reclining, cloth upholstery, flat fold third row for extended storage and leather wrapped steering. The Sequoia has 16 extra-large size cup holders on the SR5 and Limited models while the Platinum is laid with 18, which is pretty much a key factor for the choice of vehicle for a family nowadays. It can carry a cargo of up to 11ft with both rear seats folded flat and the total capacity in cubic-feet numbers out to be 120.1 offering mountains of space. The styling has been retained simple with color options of sand beige and graphite standards, along with option for black in SR5 and red rock in Platinum.

The new iForce engine provides 401 pound-feet of torque and 581 horsepower at 5600 rpm. This beast boasts a six speed automatic transmission that allows flexible torque control lock-up. This allows three overdrive gears in fourth, fifth and sixth gears each. The standard options are for rear wheel drive but Sequoia also allows multi-mode four wheel drive. The Sequoia is equipped to tow up to 7400lbs which carried over from last year.

At a base pricing of $40,930 Sequoia pays off to what is spent with a brilliant nimbleness offering independent rear suspension which allows itself to take on even the worst of roads. The highly powered engine is silent until the throttle is pushed hard!

With the oversized features, and engine, the owner will be someone who enjoys towing, power, and the ability to drive anywhere they please. Even better, you don’t have to overpay like some of the other competitors such as Infiniti, or Mercedes-Benz.

Toyota Shows Off All-New 2013 RAV4 at L.A. Auto Show

2013 Toyota RAV4 at the L.A. Auto Show Have you heard the news? Toyota recently debuted its amazing, all-new 2013 Toyota RAV4 at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, and auto experts and fans everywhere are taking notice! The redesign is the first for the hot-selling small SUV in the past seven years, and here are some of its standout features:

2013 Toyota Rav4 Specs to Remember:

  1. Sufficient Space: The new RAV4 is about the same size as its predecessor, though it has been granted additional cargo space. It has the ability to sit five adults.
  2. Plenty of Power: Though the optional V-6 engine is no longer available, the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is still relatively powerful, as it boast 176-hp and has the ability to tow 1,500 lbs.
  3. 3 Driving Mode Selections: More remarkable is the intelligent all-wheel drive system, which offers drivers three driving modes from which to choose. Auto mode is the most fuel-efficient, as it sends most of the power to the vehicle’s front wheels and only engages the rear axle when absolutely necessary. The Sport mode sends up to 50 percent of the RAV4’s power to the rear wheels and offers improved cornering due to the fact that it engages stability control to deliver torque when a turn is occurring. The Lock mode, for its part, works only under 25 mph and is essentially in full-time four-wheel drive mode. It will enable drivers to get out of muddy situations, etc.
  4. Improved Fuel Economy: What the new RAV4 loses in power, it makes up for in fuel-efficiency. The FWD model is rated at 24 mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway, while the all-wheel drive variant is rated at 22-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway.
  5. Three Available Trim Levels: LE, XLE, and Limited trims are available, and each model comes standard with 60/40 split rear seats that both fold and recline, Bluetooth connectivity, a six-inch touchscreen audio system, a rearview camera, stability and traction control, and anti-lock disc brakes.
  6. Luxurious Features: Heated mirrors, fog lights, dual-zone climate control, and a power moonroof are included with the XLE model, while the Limited trim adds such features as heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, and comes with options such as a premium audio system and a blind-spot monitoring system.
  7. A Sleeker Exterior: A more attractive exterior features a swing up rear hatch (instead of the side-hinge setup), a power-operated liftgate on the Limited model, and a more angled rear profile.

The new RAV4 will find competitors in several recently designed SUVs, including the Mazda CX-5, the Honda CR-V, and the Ford Escape. Base pricing has yet to be announced, but we doubt it will jump much higher than the current price tag of $23,460.
